German Wedding Photography: Classical Wedding Photos in Kromlau
I know Patrick & Anne for almost 2 years now, and I was so happy they asked me to be their wedding photographer. Their wedding morning was pretty chill and relaxed. However, with the first sight of the bride, everyone started off the “marathon” of happy tears. The bride was crying, the groom was almost crying, the family was crying, even I felt like crying but kept myself together. To see the bride for the first time on a wedding morning is somehow special. It is a realization that this day is really happening.

And so we went on the road towards the Kromlau Rathaus. After the ceremony full of emotions, and greeting all the guests, it was time for my favorite part of the wedding – the bridal photoshoot. We were following the narrow paths of the Kromlauer Park and let our wild sides to be free. A few hikes up the hill, a couple of racing games, some fun dance moves and we were back on the road again, this time we went to the wedding party venue – Pension “Zum Hammer” in the east of Germany. As in most of the classical German weddings, the traditional wood log cutting & bread tasting ceremonies followed after.

The couple showed some amazing dancing skills later in the evening, finishing the party with the warming fire and the traditional wedding game “kidnapping the bride”. It was a great day with the even greater couple – thank you for this beautiful experience, Anne & Patrick!
